There
are two six story buildings and two low rise buildings set
on over 6 acres of beautiful tropical grounds with many
flowering trees and shrubs, such as plumeria trees and hibiscus.
The buildings are spread out offering a quiet, uncrowded
and relaxed environment. The upper floors offer incredible
Ocean and Sunset Views. In season, the fabulous humpback
whales can be seen breaching from the beach and also from
the ocean view condo lanais.
There are two pools and a free tennis court. Gas B-B-Q grills
and seating areas are located around both of the pools making
it a wonderful gathering spot for friends and family. The
front pool also has a refrigerator and large covered seating
area where tables can be reserved. To reserve tennis court
time, sign up on the sheet the prior day
Kamaole Beach Park 2, one of Maui's finest Swimming Beaches,
is directly across from Kihei Akahi. It is a wide soft sand
beach that gradually slopes out making it ideal for adults
and children to enjoy walking, snorkeling, boogie boarding,
and body surfing. Professional lifeguards and a lifeguard
station are also present on the beach.
Ideally located in South Maui, just a few blocks off the
edge of Wailea Resort area. A very relaxing environment,
with the five star hotels of Wailea just minutes away. There
are several small shopping centers, and many restaurants
with walking distance. The restaurants range from Fast Food
to Fine Dining.
The
World Class Golf Courses of Wailea and Makena are a short
drive away.
Kahului Airport is 12 miles from Kihei Akahi, about a 25
minute drive.
Large
grocery stores such as Foodland, Star Market or Safeway
are just minutes away.
